Tom Demar is an actor drawn to the edge where identity fractures, relationships unravel, and characters are pushed to their emotional and existential limits. Whether on stage or screen, he specializes in portraying lives in crisis with raw honesty and magnetic intensity.

His career began in Pittsburgh, where he joined SAG-AFTRA and trained in classical and contemporary theater, music, and dance. After relocating to New York, Tom immersed himself in experimental theater labs acting, writing, and directing, while performing original music showcases at an underground jazz club. He soon became a finalist at The Actors Studio and landed his first lead in an Equity production.

In Los Angeles, Tom found his stride in independent cinema, with roles in films that have premiered at Sundance, DGA Fest, the Toronto Independent Film Festival, and beyond. His most recent work includes Bittersweet (2025), directed by TIFF winner Steven Martini, co-starring William Baldwin (streaming on Apple TV and Prime), and The Ruffian (2025), where he takes a dark turn as an Armenian hitman, premiering at Regal LA Live.
